Types of VR simulations

in terms of visual fidelity and realism

Hyper-realistc

These simulations have high end graphics and require high end gear. This means that the VR headset and the computer will be more expensive than average. This also generally means the VR setup isn't very mobile since you require a separate PC that the VR headset is connected to.

Examples of VR headsets: HTC Vive Pro, Oculus Rift S.
High-end PC configuration recommended.

Mid-range simulations are a balance between visuals and price. The headset is cheaper and sometimes doesn't even need a PC. Mobility is also a plus since they are more mobile than high-end VR experiences.
